How to read this: farmed salmon carries more total fat and therefore more absolute omega-3 per serving, because farmed fish are fed high-fat diets. Wild salmon is leaner, higher in protein per gram, and lower in omega-6 fatty acids, giving a more favourable omega-3:omega-6 ratio. Neither is "the healthy one" — farmed is the cheaper route to your weekly omega-3 target, wild is the leaner protein.
